Anne Gwin

As the agency’s Executive Assistant and Confidential Assistant to the State Public Defender, Anne Gwin sends and receives correspondence on behalf of the State Public Defender and maintains his calendar. She provides administrative and paralegal assistance to the agency’s executive staff members.   She also serves as the agency’s liaison to the Division of Administration’s Office of Human Resources, the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency and the Office of Technology Services providing payroll and property management, personnel supervision, and oversight of the office’s personnel LEO and OTS securities administration. Since 2019, as the agency’s appointed Safety Coordinator, she has administered the agency’s Safety Compliance Program as required by the state’s Office of Risk Management.  Finally, Ms. Gwin participates and/or performs other special projects independently and in collaboration with other OSPD divisions, as assigned by the State Public Defender.  Anne Gwin has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Paralegal Certification from Louisiana State University and A&M College.
